What if I get overwhelmed with all the different parts of the process?
Then you would be normal. It is completely normal not to be able to pay attention to all the different elements of breathing, energy flow, memories, emotions, and agreements/beliefs you find.
So, no worries. Your attention will move in and out of different components of the process at different times.
When you come upon particularly strong emotions your attention will be there for a while. Then it can come back to baseline breathing, recharge with some energy, and go to the next memory. You might then get involved in “their half” for a while sending their energy back to them. Then you might see a part that was “your half” and work through what you created.
Then your attention can go back to baseline breathing, recharge, center, and build your intent for the next memory.
How should I feel after a session?
Each session is different. Sometimes you may feel completely exhausted. You expended a lot of attention and energy to work and unlock emotions.
Other times, you might feel like the whole session was flat and nothing significant happened.
After some sessions, you might be charged up with energy and feeling high as you have recovered a lot of your personal power, and it is now available to you.
How long for results?
It will vary. There can be results from an individual session in which you really felt the agreements and emotions being released. In that process, your personal power stored in those broken agreements returns to you.
Sometimes you will have a session, and it will seem like you pushed on the walls the whole time, but nothing moved. Don’t worry. This isn’t a failure. Sometimes it is necessary to revisit an event in memory multiple times before you see it fall apart, and all the energy is released. If you have had many interactions with a person over time, such as a parent criticizing you, then you will have to revisit many of those events to shift the paradigm. You won’t have to recapitulate all of them, but enough to build a different neural pathway of associations is all that is needed.
The real big results of this practice will come over time, in weeks and months. Think of it like strength training. The first time you try to max your pushups or planks when you haven’t used those muscles before will be small. But the repetition will build with each day you exercise. As you regularly practice this, you will notice greater clarity and energy throughout your day. Your amount of personal power will be substantial.
Another thing you will notice is your ability to avoid emotional reactions and to avoid getting caught up in drama that previously hooked you in. This change will be substantial.
